Hi! Still trying to figure this all out. The birdie is settled right in and chirping up a storm--she is very happy here! I'm surprised I sent that first message and it went through. thinking of you all--say HI to Evelyn and Darrin. Hope I can get this one to go through as well, Maybe I am computer literate!!!

Looks like I've lost some of my message to you. I told you that Canada won the fireworks. The judges said that Canada was a notch above the rest. The birdie is still very happy here but I'm su re she misses you very much. I went to bingo today with Bev and I won $40. They had a special day up there for B.C. day. Can't remember all what I said what I lost but I figure I lost a bout 1000 words--crap!! Maybe they will come up sometime when they return from cyber space!!!

Today it is raining! We had such nice weather for the long weekend. I'm going to cut my hair after I finish my message to you. Brad phoned us last evening--it was nice to hear from him. He said they haven't found Lloyd's body yet, but some scanner thinks something is very far down. Hope for the families sake it's found. How wonderful you seen Neudorf, Austria--I know Neudorf, Saskchewan was named after the town in Austria(which one I don't know). Anyway I'm very impressed --Oh to be there with you!!! Tomorrow we go for lunch with Lorraine. George and Norma in Steveston--I'm looking forward to seeing them all! Does this seem right--We get to see
Steveston and you get to see Saltzburg, Austria!!!!!!

Here I am again--nothing else to do. My hair isn't too short, well at least I can curl it a bit. My last two messages weren't on update one and they seem to be on your message site--don't know how that happened? I must have used your comment site to leave my message--will have to watch that==hope you can still retrieve them. I think I am getting hooked on computers--FUN FUN If I had my own I would hook up with Africam, etc. Might just think about it!!!!! Well I see it's time to start dinner--What kind of food are you having in Austria? Did you have some good "merriment" last night, or was it schnapps? Does wirt mean Worth in German? That's how it is pronounced in German. I finally found the word search bit it said nothing was found!!

Tracy sounds like you are having a great time & you describe everything so well, it's almost like we were there. I wish!!! I would love the sauerkraut I am sure. Had lots of that when I was little. On our tour of the UK most of us also were in bed before 10 but then you are younger than us!!! Sometimes I was in bed at 8:30 pm. LOL
Looking forward to meeting Mom & Dad & everyone today in Steveston. Oh yeah - your pictures are fabulous - keep them coming!

Sounds like you are haveing a good time on your trip. I guess that you should start saving now for a trip to visit your cousin in Calgary in the year 2009. It must be more expensive than a trip to Europe or you would have come and visited me in the past 2 years I have lived here. Ha, Ha, Ha!!!
